Jewish
Family Services of Delaware
(JFS) is a health and human
services agency serving families within the Delaware community for
over a century, improving people’s lives and life prospects. With
offices in Wilmington and Newark, JFS offers counseling, care
management, youth development, and communal services to people
without regard to race, ethnicity, or religion.
The agency is accredited by the Council on
Accreditation and is a member of the United Way of Delaware, Jewish
Federation of Delaware, and the national Association of Jewish
Family and Children’s Agencies. JFS has received United Way's
Community Impact Award, and has been named Lead Agency in the
Delaware Aging Network, a consortium of over 32 organizations
working together to serve older adults throughout the state.
JFS is especially committed to continued expansion
and deepening of our contributions to the vulnerable
communities of Delaware. Our vision for the agency is to use our
evolving position as a key social service provider in Delaware to
strengthen the support available to our most underserved
populations.
